There is also a sofa bed in the small but cozy living room on the first floor. The newly renovated kitchen is well equipped, and there is also a dishwasher. The house has a modern bathroom with toilet / shower and guest toilet. Please note: The height of the ceiling in the ground floor/basement is below normal standards (Approximately 192 cm).
By the house there is a small terrace and a garden. Parking is directly in front of the house.

Stykkishólmur is the largest town (population ca 1.200), situated on the northern side of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. This picturesque small town with its beautiful harbour is a center of services and commerce for the area. Most of the people make their living from fishing and tourism. There are several restaurants, hotels, supermarkets and a swimming pool. You can find here a 19th-century wood-frame Norwegian House with a small regional museum and a craft shop in it.
The Snæfellsnes Peninsula has beautiful diverse and dramatic landscapes. At its western tip is Snæfellsjökull National Park and its dominant glacier. Popular tourist places are Djúpalónssandur Beach, Kirkjufell mountain and the smaller fishing communities along the southern part of the peninsula.
