Skorradalur is on the way to Borgarfjörður, with its many sights such as Hraunfossar waterfall and Deildatunguhver hot spring. In Skorradalur, there is a large lake called Skorradalsvatn. It is 16 km long, 1 km wide, and up to 60 meters deep. It is a beautiful area for both shorter and longer hikes.
