Additionally there is small double alcove bed (140cm) in the living room. It has an open kitchen living room has a radio and a kitchen corner with a microwave. The bathroom has a WC/shower.
On the 50 sqm terrace there is a grill and garden furniture. It offers the opportunity for outdoor meals surrounded by green birch woods. In front of the house you will find a private parking space.

The town has restaurants, supermarkets, cafés and the fascinating museum, the Settlement Center. There is also a lovely swimming pool with a steam bath, an ice bath and hot tubs.
Close by, along road nr. 1 is Baulan, a small petrol station and shop, that also has a restaurant and sells most necessities. In Borgarfjörður, you don't want to miss Reykholt, Deildartunguhver hot spring, Krauma spa, and the lava waterfall Hraunfossar. Further deep into the fjord you will find caves around Húsafell, for example, Víðgelmir, the largest and most spectacular lava tunnel in Iceland.
