Downstairs, there are two bedrooms. The comfortable kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a nice meal while you enjoy the breathtaking view outside of the kitchen window. The living room has beautiful furniture and has been decorated with attention to detail.

From the small community of Arnarstapi, there is a delightful, easy walk along the shore to reach the somewhat bigger village of Hellnar. It is a former fishing village, located just south of the glacier Snæfellsjökull. Driving up close to it will be worth the drive. The French author Jules Verne made this glacier famous in his book "Journey to the Center of the Earth".
In Hellnar there is a small cafe and a hotel. The Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge is also close by, as well as the cave Sönghellir, known for its echoes. Nearest shopping possibility is in Hellissandur.
