It is just out side of Reykholt and close to Skálholt in South Iceland, and only short driving distance from Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. There is plenty to explore in the area, and the house is in an idyllic setting, offering stunning views from the comfort of the living room or the spacious terrace.
The house has three bedrooms and can sleep up to seven people. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, from dishwasher to microwave. Bathroom: WC/shower and a washing machine. The living room has a large corner couch to relax on and TV, CD/radio, DVD player and WIFI for internet surfing. If you prefer to sit outside, the terrace has garden furniture and a gas grill for that well-deserved barbecue. Or you can take a dip in the hot tub and afterwards the cold tub.
There is a parking place in front of the house.

The small village Reykholt started in the first half of the 20th century, when geothermal activity was discovered in the area. There are several greenhouses and horticultural farms in the region, as well as a grocery store, gas station, swimming pool, horse-shows and greenhouse visits, making it a popular stop along the Golden Circle route. Close to Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall, the historical church of Skálholt, as well as many swimming pools and golf courses.
Reykholt is ca 30 km east of Selfoss, the largest town in South Iceland on the banks of the Ölfusá river. The town is a centre of commerce and small industries with a population of ca 8.000. There are many shops, restaurants, supermarkets and an outdoor geothermal swimming pool.
