There are three bedrooms in the house, a kitchen with all necessities, a living room with a fireplace, TV/DVD, and radio/CD. A washing machine is at your disposal as well. Sigurhæð has proximity to many of Iceland's most famous sights, such as Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir.
After an exciting day excursion, it is lovely to enjoy the fantastic view from the hot pot on the veranda.

There are several greenhouses and horticultural farms in the region, as well as a grocery store, gas station, swimming pool, horse-shows and greenhouse visits, making it a popular stop along the Golden Circle route. Close to Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall, the historical church of Skálholt, as well as many swimming pools and golf courses.
