Hulduheimar is a beautiful log cabin close to Reykholt in South Iceland and the middle of the popular tourist attractions of the Golden Circle. An excellent location for excursions in South Iceland.

The house has four bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people. It has both a baby travel cot and a high-chair. You will enjoy cooking in this kitchen, as it has excellent facilities, including a microwave and a dishwasher. The lovely living room invites you to relax at the beautiful fireplace watching TV or listening to the radio/CD. WC/shower and a washing machine in the bathroom.

The large terrace of 100sqm has a lovely hot tub, a gas grill and garden furniture. Parking place at the house.

Reykholt is located in South Iceland and a great location for exploring this region.

The small village Reykholt started in the first half of the 20th century, when geothermal activity was discovered in the area. There are several greenhouses and horticultural farms in the region, as well as a grocery store, gas station, swimming pool, horse-shows and greenhouse visits, making it a popular stop along the Golden Circle route. Close to Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall, the historical church of Skálholt, as well as many swimming pools and golf courses.

Reykholt is ca 30 km east of Selfoss, the largest town in South Iceland on the banks of the Ölfusá river. The town is a centre of commerce and small industries with a population of ca 8.000. There are many shops, restaurants, supermarkets and an outdoor geothermal swimming pool.
