Dalbær holiday home has an excellent location for day trips in South Iceland. Inside a small forest, it invites you for walks in the surrounding nature. From the house there is a lovely panoramic view. Being close to town Laugarvatn you have all possible necessities in your vicinity, including a lovely swimming pool and a spa.

The two-bedroom house has a well-equipped kitchen with a microwave and a dishwasher. The living room has a TV, radio/CD and a cosy fireplace that you can light up as you please.

The 60 sqm terrace has garden furniture, hot tub and a gas grill. In the garden, there is a beautiful playground and a small house for children. There is a parking place in front of the house.

The nearest village is Laugarvatn situated at a shallow lake with the same name. Here you can find all basic services like a small grocery store, restaurants, gas station, swimming pool, sauna, horse rental and a golf course. The shores of the lake have several geothermal hot springs. You can also hire a boat to go on the lake Laugarvatn.

Laugarvatn is a popular stop for travellers as it is located near many of Iceland's top attractions like Þingvellir national park, Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall and Skálholt bishop seat.
