Hóll is a simple family house perfect for a family holiday or a small group of friends in the east part of Iceland. It is close to bay Héraðsflói and its beautiful coast Héraðssandur, where two big glacier rivers (Lagarfljót and Jökulsá á Brú) fall into the ocean. Exotic birdlife, seals and sometimes even reindeer are often visible there.

The house is simple; it has four bedrooms, a large kitchen with a dishwasher, a living room with a TV, Radio and CD-player. Bathroom: WC/bathtub.

The house stands on a large grass field and has a view to all directions. You can prepare an Icelandic BBQ meal with the coal grill. A private parking space in front of the house.

Héraðsflói is in East Iceland. In Héraðsflói two big glacier rivers run into the ocean nearby, Lagarfljót and Jökulsá á Brú. The area is known for its colourful birdlife and seal colonies.

The nearest village is Borgarfjörður Eystri, about 35 minutes away from the house. There you will find a coffee house and restaurants. There is a small grocery shop and self-service gas station.

Egilsstaðir, the capital of the east, is around 40 km south. It is situated at the northern part of the Lagarfljót river and is the largest settlement of the Eastern Region with ca 2500 inhabitants. It has everything from gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and a swimming pool.
